Gospel of Mark

The Gospel of Mark

The Gospel of Mark, is the first ever word-for-word, unedited movie adaption of this book of the Bible.  MS Do asked me to review the DVD since I have a background as a former minister of 25 years.

When asked to review The Gospel of Mark DVD, I wondered if it was narrated or if the actors played parts, quoting word-for-word from the Gospel.  Later, I recalled a performance I attended to in my youth.  At age 12, I attended a show in which an actor quoted the entire Gospel of Mark, word-for word.  It surprised me that someone memorized an entire book of the Bible.

The Gospel of Mark impressed me very much.  True to the the description, the entire book was narrated, word-for-word, as each scene was seamlessly portrayed by the actors.  Most impressive, the actors spoke in Hebrew and Aramaic, as each scene developed.  Each of the characters were introduced to the viewers throughout the film.  The scenery shown throughout the movie is absolutely breathtaking.

I feel The Gospel of Mark, DVD was original and authentic.  It was very inspiring to watch, almost a blessing.  It was true to the Word and definitely something to share with the entire family.

With the coming Easter season, The Gospel of Mark DVD is the perfect gift for family, friends, and neighbors.  It’s also a great way to share the story of Christ with those who don’t know him.
